  • Food vendors at the market need to have their Market Food Safety Basics Home Study course certificate in order to sell at the market.
  • All vendors need proof of liability insurance for the current year. New vendors have 30 days to get insurance in place but may start if they are waiting for certificate. 
  • Food Vendors and Health/Beauty Vendors need insurance certificate before start date.

To get started on your food safety, please go to Alberta Health Services website and register for the online course.

Liability Insurance may be done through your home, business or Alberta Farmers Market Association.
